Is Flirting Considered Cheating?

I am a 35 year old married woman who loves to flirt with other men, none of which I know. I enjoy flirting with total strangers whether I'm shopping, driving, in restaurants - just about anywhere. I especially love flirting with married men. I always start with good eye to eye contact and it almost seems like I'm staring at him. While looking at him I flick my hair. I enjoy them checking me out and it's kind of stimulating for me. Is this the same as cheating? I do love getting attention from other married men and have even thought of having an affair but haven't had the nerve to try it.

Well Kim, it sounds like you may not be getting enough attention from your husband or maybe you're just tired or bored with him. I don't know your situation but something isn't right in your marriage.

There are several different definitions of the word "flirting" and one of them is "an intent to arouse sexual interest". That sounds to me like what you are trying to do. Flirting in my opinion is not cheating but it could lead to it if that is your intention. If you enjoy flirting than continue doing it. It's fairly harmless unless your husband catches you and then it could lead to additional problems with your marriage.
